Dear Pastors, Elders and Church Leaders,
Greetings in the Lord’s precious name!
We live in a multicultural society and particularly we have 60% of our population who are Muslims whose belief is Islam. Yet there is lack of knowledge of what is Islam. Few youths will have adequate understanding of Islam although in their everyday life they are likely to interact with their colleagues who are Muslims. Christian youth must know how Christianity differs from Islam in the beliefs. For example, Is Jesus of the bible the same as Isa (the Muslim Jesus) in Islam? Do we believe in the same God? Is the pathway to salvation the same?
This two half-day training will equip Christian youths to know and understand the core beliefs of Islam as compared with the bible scripture. Youth will learn how to defend their faith and be steadfast in their Christian belief.
