Calvary Church, Kuala Lumpur, recently organised a thanksgiving service to honour its Senior Pastor, Rev. Datuk Dr Prince Guneratnam, and his wife, Senior Associate Pastor Datin Dr Petrina, for their 30 years of faithful service to the church.
The special Sunday morning worship service was held at Dewan PGRM with Dr David Cho Yonggi, pastor of Yoido Full Gospel Church in South Korea, as the guest speaker.
During the service, the congregation was continually challenged with the message that God uses ordinary people, who will give their lives to Him, to do extraordinary things for His Kingdom.
The celebration continued that evening with a dinner banquet at the Royal Ballroom of the Palace of the Golden Horses. Leaders from component bodies of the Christian Federation of Malaysia, including Roman Catholic Bishop Antony Selvanayagam and NECF Malaysia Secretary-General Rev. Wong Kim Kong, were among the 1,000 people who attended the joyous occasion. |
