NECF Malaysia is a member of the World Evangelical Alliance and Evangelical Fellowship of Asia. It is one of the three founding members of the Christian Federation of Malaysia (CFM), the other two being the Council of Churches of Malaysia and the Catholic Church of Malaysia.
The fellowship is also represented through the CFM on the Malaysian Consultative Council of Buddhism, Christianity, Hinduism and Sikhism (MCCBCHS).
NECF maintains fraternal relations with international Christian organisations such as Lausanne Committee for World Evangelisation, AD2000 and Beyond Movement, Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and other ministry-related organisations.

“Our denomination went through a bad patch some years back that resulted in the closing down of several outreaches. It was with NECF’s help that Foursquare has risen once again and we are able to function as a body.
Besides this, NECF also helped us to get a visa for our missionary to continue his ministry here.
NECF has successfully provided covering and security to, not only small churches in the pioneering stage, but also established churches that are unable to get themselves registered with the authorities.
