JBPF Relief Committee: Johor Flood Report 2011 - Update

5th Feb, 2011

To Pastors, Leaders and People who are concern,

Greetings in the Name of our Lord, Jesus!

The aftermath of the Flood that hit the Southern region of Peninsula Malaysia and especially the hardest hit Johor towns: Segamat was like a Warzone with every home and shoplot in Segamat Town affected by the Flood. Noone was spared as in front of every door, heaps of Damaged furniture and Unusable household items stenched the neighborhood. Chinese New Year's Eve that was just around the corner added to the bleak outlook amidst the gloomy skies. Thankfully the Electricity and Water were restored to the Segamat town as help was on their way from JB (Mon, 2nd Feb, 2011).

Damaged household items are everywhere

Few are spared with destruction everywhere

The 40 footer container was only possible due to the combined effort of the JB Churches who operates a Crisis Relief Store since Nov, 2010 in anticipation of the escalating Disasters that were happening world wide.
