What is Malaysia MyHome?

Malaysia MyHome is about Christians embracing this nation as their homeland. As Christians planted in this land, we are to seek the 'peace and prosperity of the city' through 'prayer' as exhorted by Jeremiah the prophet in Jeremiah 29:7 to the exiled Jews living in Babylon. As she prospers, we will prosper too.

Malaysia MyHome is about redeeming our streets from the vices and evil that has filled it. Today it is terrorized by thieves, drug pushers, human traders/traffickers and gangsters. It is time for Christians to go out to the streets and restore its peace and security through prayer. Through prayer we can drive the forces of darkness from our streets.

Malaysia MyHome is about a prophetic act. In Genesis 13:17, the Lord told Abram, 'Arise, walk in the land through its length and its width, for I will give it to you.' Then at the commissioning of Joshua in Joshua 1:3 The Lord said, 'Every place where the sole of your foot will tread upon I have given you.' As the Church steps out into her street and community, she is prophetically laying claim to the land.

Malaysia MyHome is about delivering Jubilee. And Jesus is our ultimate example. He was sent to heal the broken hearted and set the captives free (Luke 4:18). He fulfilled this mission by walking the streets of Galilee and Jerusalem armed with prayer and the word. It resulted in lives restored, community impacted and God glorified.

Malaysia MyHome is about answering the Lord's Prayer. Let your Kingdom come… here on earth (Matthew 6:10). How can His Kingdom come into our nation? As we take prayer out into our streets and communities. By doing that, we are extending and expanding His Kingdom into our world.

Malaysia MyHome is about answering the Great Commission. Jesus in Matthew 28:19 said, 'Go therefore' to His disciples in the Great Commission. As we step out of the four walls of our church and into our streets and community, we are acting exactly what the Lord wants us to do. As we obey Him, His love will be manifested and the needy will find Him.
