Prayer Alert - 29 Jan 2010
At this critical time, there's a need for the Body of Christ to consistently and persistently cry out to the Lord for His divine intervention to the many incidents meant to incite religious and racial hatred.
Desecrating Places of Worship:
- Thank the Lord for the united voice of denouncing the deplorable acts. We, the Church of Malaysia, do not condone any disrespectful action towards places of worship, regardless of religion.
- Continue to pray for all religious parties to remain calm and not to fall prey to those who seek to disrupt the peace and harmony of our nation.
- Ask the Lord to restrain those who seek to foment enmity and strife among peace-loving Malaysians for any political mileage or mischief.
- Pray for the law enforcers to swiftly bring to justice the perpetrators who have done these evil acts.
- Pray for the Body of Christ to remain calm, patient and vigilant at all times.
