Dear Pastors/Elders/Leaders

On behalf of the NECF Prayer Commission, I would like to express our thanks for your support in our recent call to pray for the Sarawak Elections. The Lord has revealed His ways not withstanding our expectations would differ from each one of us we must continue to trust in the Lord. However, we praise God that the elections atmosphere though tense was free from any incident.
Personally, through this call for prayer, I rejoice to see the unity and bond of the churches for both East and West Malaysia. Our testimony is the reflection of the Lord's Prayer in John 17:22 "I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one."
Unfortunately, at some stage the church was placed in very challenging circumstances, we praised God that the church stood firm and remembered that she has been called to be the Bride of Christ for the transformation of our nation.
Let us then, continue to remain focus to the theme, transforming the nation through the local church. Let us move on to speak up for justice and righteousness. Let us be the voice of conscience on issues of bribery and corruption for this nation.
Once again, our grateful thanks for your support to the Macedonian Call to Pray, as we look forward to build this nation together for the Lord's glory.
